🦌 February 2027 Tara Wildlife Scrapbooking Retreat
Come spend four wonderful days crafting, relaxing, eating, and enjoying time with friends at beautiful Tara Wildlife Recreation Center in the Eagle Lake community, approximately 30 minutes northwest of historic Vicksburg, Mississippi and 72 miles west of Jackson.
With six miles of Mississippi River frontage and 6,500 acres of oxbow lakes and bottomland hardwood forests, Tara Wildlife provides a beautiful and peaceful setting for a scrapbooking getaway.
One of the things that makes this retreat so special is that we have the entire property to ourselves! Our group will be the only group in attendance, and the 5,700-square-foot conference center gives us a wonderful space to spread out and create.
✂️ RETREAT DETAILS
Our February 2027 Retreat will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 12 and end at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 15, giving you four days to scrapbook, make cards, work on your favorite crafts, visit with friends, and just enjoy getting away!
Current Retreat Registration: $235
Your retreat registration includes:
• Creative space for all four days
• 3 Brunches
• 3 Dinners
• Daily snacks and drinks
• Lots and lots of crafting time!
And then there’s the FOOD! ❤️
If you’ve attended Tara with us before, you already know that the meals are one of the highlights of the retreat. Tara provides us with incredible Southern country cooking, with brunch and dinner served each day. Come hungry!
💗 IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 2027 PRICING
Registration is opening NOW!
We are currently waiting for Tara Wildlife to finalize its rates for 2027. Rather than making everyone wait to register, I’m going ahead and opening registration so you can reserve your place now.
You will have two registration options:
OPTION 1 – REGISTER & PAY NOW
Register and pay the current 2026 retreat rate of $235. Once Tara confirms its 2027 rates, I will contact you if there is an increase and you can simply pay the difference.
OPTION 2 – REGISTER NOW & PAY LATER
Register now without making your payment. Your registration will hold your place while we wait for Tara to finalize its 2027 pricing.
Once the rates are confirmed, I will send you an invoice for the final amount. You will have 30 days from the date of the invoice to make your payment. If payment is not received within 30 days, your spot will be released and you will need to register again if space is still available.
Either way, you can get your name on the list now without waiting for the 2027 rates to be announced!
🏡 LODGING AT TARA
Lodging is conveniently located in the main building, so when you're finished crafting for the night, your room is just a short walk away!
Current 2026 lodging rates are:
• $110 per night – Single Occupancy
• $150 per night – Double Occupancy
We are also awaiting confirmation of Tara's 2027 lodging rates, so these prices are subject to change.

📏 CRAFTING TABLES
When you register, I will assume that you would prefer a 6-foot table, and those tables will be assigned in registration order.
Once all of the available 6-foot tables have been assigned, you will receive a 4.5-foot table, or I will contact you to see if you would like to bring your own 6-foot table if we still have enough room in the conference center.
So, if having a 6-foot table is important to you, register early!

Bring your scrapbooks, cards, Cricut, photos, favorite projects—or whatever you love to create—and settle in for four days of crafting, friendship, beautiful surroundings, and some seriously good food!
